This Privacy Policy explains how DataLab USA (“DataLab,” “we,” or “us”) uses and discloses the Personal Information we collect from or about you, such as when you use datalabusa.com or other websites that link to this policy (collectively, the “Sites”). This Privacy Policy only applies when we control the collection or processing of personal information.
We may process Personal Information on behalf of our third-party clients and data suppliers in the context of providing services to those third parties. For those purposes, DataLab is a data “processor” or “service provider” under applicable privacy laws. We process your Personal Information on behalf of our clients and in accordance with our written contracts with our clients. We do not control the data processing or protection practices of our clients, which may differ from those set out in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information We Collect
“Personal Information” is information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked directly or indirectly to, an identifiable person or household.

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect this information to review and contact you regarding potential employment opportunities or to communicate with you regarding our services. - Other parties in connection with a corporate transaction: In the event Data Lab is involved in a merger, reorganization, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets, or other corporate transaction, we may transfer, assign, or disclose your Personal Information as part of that transaction.
- Other recipients with your consent.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”) to help us personalize and enhance Your experience on our Sites. The Tracking Technologies we use include:
- Cookies. A cookie is a small string of text that is sent by our Sites to your browser and then stored by your browser on Your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies allow us to personalize your experience on our Sites, make your visit more convenient, and understand how you and others are using our Sites so that we can improve your experience on the Sites. Some web browsers incorporate a Do Not Track ("DNT") feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have their online activity tracked. At this time, DataLab does not recognize or respond to DNT signals.
Data Security & Retention
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the Personal Information you provide to us against loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.
We retain your Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose(s) for which we collected it or as needed for compliance with our legal obligations.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) requires us to provide specific disclosures about the Personal Information we collected in the preceding 12 months. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of Personal Information we collect and sources of information, and the business and commercial purposes for collecting Personal Information.
In the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed your Personal Information to each of the categories of third parties listed above for business and commercial purposes. In addition:
- We do not “sell” or "share" personal information as a data controller as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
- As a data controller, we do not knowingly sell the Personal Information of minors under 16.
California Individual Privacy Rights:
- The right to know. You have the right to request to know what Personal Information we have collected about you, including the categories of Personal Information we have collected, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing Personal Information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed Personal Information, and the specific pieces of Personal Information we collected.
- The right to correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.
- The right to deletion. You have the right to request that we delete the Personal Information that we have collected or maintain about you. We may deny your request as permitted by law under certain circumstances, such as if we need to comply with our legal obligations or complete a transaction for which your Personal Information was collected. If we deny your request for deletion, we will let you know the reason why such request was denied.
- The right to equal service. If you choose to exercise any of these rights, we will not discriminate against you in anyway. If you exercise certain rights, understand that you may be unable to use or access certain features of the Sites or our services or properties.

Shine the Light: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 gives California residents the rights to request from us once per calendar year certain information regarding our disclosure of their Personal Information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Utah, you have rights, subject to legal limitations, concerning our collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information, including:
- The right to know/access. You may have the right to confirm whether we are processing your Personal Information and to request information about the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected the Personal Information, our business or commercial purposes for collecting Personal Information, and the categories of recipients to whom we have disclosed Personal Information. You may also request a copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
- The right to correct. You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.
- The right to delete. You may have the right to request that we delete your Personal Information under certain circumstances.
- The right to appeal. If we do not grant your consumer request, you may have the right to appeal that denial.

Note that as a data controller, we do not “sell” Personal Information as defined under applicable law or share it for targeted advertising purposes.
Submitting a Privacy Rights Request
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, or Utah, you can submit a privacy rights request by emailing us at or by calling us at 1-800-972-1430. If you choose to exercise any of these rights, DataLab will not discriminate against you in any way. If you do exercise certain rights, understand that you may be unable to use or access certain features of our Sites or other services.
Verification: To process privacy rights requests, we may need to request certain Personal Information from you to locate you in our records or verify your identity where required by applicable law. In some cases, we may also request a signed declaration that you are who you say you are. We will inform you if we need such additional information.
Authorized Agents: Authorized agents may exercise rights on behalf of California residents by submitting a request via and indicating that they are submitting the request as an agent. We will require the agent to demonstrate authority to act on behalf of the resident, such as by providing signed permission from the resident. We may also require the resident to verify their own identity directly with us or to directly confirm with us that they provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
Children’s Privacy
Our Sites are intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect the Personal Information of nor target the Sites to children under the age of 16. If DataLab learns that a child under the age of 16 has submitted Personal Information, we will take reasonable measures to delete the information and to not use it for any purpose, except where required by law.
Third Party Links
Our Sites may offer links to other websites which may have information policies and practices different from ours. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy policies, practices, or content of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website prior to providing them with your Personal Information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we post modifications to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this web page. Information for Non-U.S. Residents
The Sites are intended for use in the United States only. If you visit our Sites from outside the United States, some of your Personal Information will be transferred to and stored on our servers, some of which may be located in the United States. Please note that the data protection laws applicable to your Personal Information in the United States may differ from the data protection laws in your country. By providing us with your Personal Information and using our Sites, you acknowledge that your Personal Information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
